well, because of my current job, that would be when the bag in a trash can falls inside and people keep throwing trash on it anyway, so you have to either upend it or scoop it out when you collect the trash. also, CHILDREN THROW AWAY THEIR ENTIRE LUNCH, VIRTUALLY UNTOUCHED! and millions of people are starving, so that not only annoys me but it's sad
My husband is a #1 offender of one of my biggest pet peeves - Do NOT cut me off when Im speaking like you know what im about to say, especially if your wrong. Wait the two freaking seconds for me to say what im going to say.
um, i have a lot, but they don't really affect me as much as the peeve I have with people touching my hair. Close friends can mess with it if they want, but when anyone else does it i'm just like "I know it looks so inviting but why the hell are you touching me I don't even know you?!"
-Well I have this clean freak issue and I can't stand messy places. xD -It always bothers me when people whisper in my ear so I always cover it -People eating cheese. I have no idea why.... -Being plain out ignored -_- -People that comment on my accent
-but I think the main one are drooling babies *shudders* They're cute and all but not when they're drooling all over you....
Yes. When they aggressively defy another's opinion on something, especially while they are incorrect in their own assumptions. Open-mindedness is a valuable trait, as much as is respect for one's peers.
Here are a few of mine: -When you give clear directions for something and the person still doesn't follow them, or they do the exact opposite. -When people take a good character from a book/movie/cartoon/game/television show and twist their character so badly that it's not even THAT character anymore. -When someone asks for advice, but they don't use it anyway. -When someone keeps asking the same question over and over even though you already gave them the answer. -Teachers in college's who refuse to use email STILL! -People who talk non-stop in movie theaters when you are trying to enjoy the movie. (This also includes talking on the phone and texting)
Okay, those are a few of mine. I am sure there are others who can relate. Just felt like sharing. I couldn't stick to one. Hope that's okay.
Yep, I sort of did that on purpose. LOL, sometimes I like being a goof!
Well, what happens to me a lot is that I am always sitting behind someone with a cell phone. The lights on phones are really darn bright and in a dark movie theater that hurts my eyes. Yet, I don't know how they are typing with it hurting theirs. It's disrespectful to the other people around them who payed money to see a movie. It's like . . . if you want to text then don't go pay to sit in a movie theater to do it. That's just throwing money away and making the experience for the people who actually came to see the darn movie.
I would think it would be easier see the phone better if they went outside in the light anyway. It makes no sense to sit in a dark theater and squint at a bright phone trying to read texts. I don't turn my phone off, but I do turn the airplane mode on so that nothing goes through until I turn if off again.
I feel like such a complainer when explaining my pet peeves LOL because I have so many.
One of the bigger ones is sneezes, including my own LOL I hate the sound of a sneeze especially the big hulking ones. It got to the point to where my dad sneezed and he does like 8 in a row, it would make me so angry.
Another I have, is when people ask me certain things before reading anything i might have, i.e. asking tutorials because I have no patience for them and Im just a bit ornery when it comes to art /ded - Have a concern over looked, or of the like. (I'm annoyingly paranoid almost all the time x: )
- Having to repeat myself
- Mumbling - amg when people mumble and then I tell them I can hear it or they speak over a loud noise Im likely to not hear it because of the lack of speaking loud enough
- Disrespect in general, like seeing it around me, when theres nothing I can do about it x: (because I have the need to try to fix everything =w
XD I'm ok wit sneezing, it's coughing and sniffling that drives me crazy. >:U I mean, once in a while is fine. If you are sick it's fine, because you can't help it. But if there is a way to go excuse yourself in a classroom or something, please do it.
I really get agitated when I have to repeat myself. I have always had a speech problem where I talk to fast and don't annunciate words clearly and I have always had to repeat myself. I even went to speech therapy to help fix the problem. It didn't help much. XD Now I get very grumpy when I get asked to repeat myself. ;-;
