I really love this pure black and white art style when ever I see it always amazes me.
If only I could draw like that would be awesome but when ever I try to draw something this way I fail T_T

I do fail. The pictures I draw are all when I look at reference and draw what I see.
But what I want to learn it how to draw in that style something I image in my head and arrange the black and white on my own.
When ever I try to do it like that I fail. And end up not liking what I draw T_T

Bro, referencing is NOT cheating. Professionals (especially comic makers) use photos of models they take for posing in their comics. You think every single comic artist pulls everything they draw out of their butt, head or air? No way! In art school, I was required to have references, and even for the shiba and panda here, I got photos of pandas and shibas so I could make sure what I drew LOOKED like one.

Now copying and referencing are NOT the same thing, but using a reference for an idea is NOT bad. The thing about learning to take images from color to black and white and it does take time. I've been drawing for years about 6 or so and so I've had some practice. Also with art school for 5 of those 6 years, I;ve had some training and help in my art. XD

So please don't feel bad about it. I'm simply in a different part of my learning than you are. That's all. Keep practicing and being PATIENT with yourself, you'll get there. You can draw as much as you want, but you can't rush time.

I know it is not the same but what I want to say is that with reference that is not of pure black and white style I can't draw it at all.
I always end up messing it up and don't make it look how I imagine it in my head T_T

Drawing from your head is about being able to see well. the best way to practice that is to draw a lot from REAL life. Draw things you see, people, animals, plants, objects, etc. The more you practice drawing what you see in real life, the better you'll get at practicing things in your head. I'd done that for years, drawing from life nearly everyday. You can take photographs and throw it into photoshop and adjust the photo through filters to get a black and white look to practice from.

I don't have PhotoShop xD
I don't like cracked programs and it cost to much to buy ...
But I can do it in PhotoImpact 12 I got it along with my Graphic Pen Tablet xD (<.< wish it was PhotoShop dou but that is a good program too haha)

Thought I like to draw more manga style but I think if I get good at realistic stuff I will get better on manga style too.

I will try use a really dark filter and make it almost look like it is in only black and white and get used to how it looks like.
Just so later I can remember patterns of how it should look like.

It doesn't matter what style you want. IF you want to be able to draw in a manga style, you need to be able to UNDERSTAND real life anatomy. You don't have to master drawing it, but you need to study real life to know how to manipulate things into your own style.

Think about all the people who draw wolves? They study REAL wolves and then change the style to match their own. My example is NinjaKato , they have a very stylized look, but have studied REAL wolf anatomy and REAL feline anatomy so that when they draw and stylize, they can understand their own "version" of anatomy.

Honestly, if you go pro, and your boss finds you have a cracked version of things, you can be fired and blacklisted. Nobody wants an dishonest or thief of an employee, so when you can start saving up, do it. When it comes to programs, look at Sai, it's about 40-50$ and Krita is free! I've heard a lot of good things about Krita, so check it out. :3 You don't need a fancy program like Photoshop to be a great artist.
